Swallows caretaker coach Musa Nyatama admitted his future remains uncertain as the club hierarchy continue the search for a permanent head coach since the departure of Dylan Kerr.

Nyatama was handed the reins at the Dube Birds on an interim basis since Kerr's departure with numerous names linked to the vacant position.

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder managed to pick up a point away from home when the Dube Birds drew 1-1 against SuperSport United in a DStv Premiership clash on Sunday.

Swallows FC is set to return to action on New Year’s Eve when visiting Richards Bay in the league match in Durban.

Nyatama is set to remain as head coach for the forseeable future.

“That’s the decision from the management, I don’t have control over that," said Nyatama when asked if would be interested in taking over as head coach permanently at Swallows this season.

The Dube Birds are set to return to training on November 15 after being given two-week break due to the FIFA World Cup tournament.

"We are going on a break. It's a two-week break just for the guys to relax and forget about football a little bit.

We are re-opening on the 14th or 15th November," added Nyatama.
