Baroka FC defender Thabiso Semenya has put his honeymoon with his sweetheart Potego Mothiba on hold to help his club survive relegation.

Semenya took advantage of the long weekend to say 'I do' to Potego during their wedding held at Moletjie Village in Polokwane over the past weekend.

The Limpopo-born defender lost his previous wife in a vehicle accident in Rustenburg a few years ago while still in the colours of Platinum Stars.

Semenya's wedding was attended by fellow players including George Chigova, Jabu Maluleke, Edgar Manaka, Robert Ng'ambi, Letladi Madubanya, Salulani Phiri and Bokang Tlhone to name a few.

'Touch' could not hide his excitement after making it official with Potego.

"I am very happy to have finally made her my wife," said Semenya.

"That's the kind of woman I searched for and prayed for when I was going through the toughest time of my life. I love her so much and didn't think twice about marrying her."

Semenya is currently in camp with Baroka in preparation for their next league match against Free State Stars at Goble Stadium on Wednesday.
