Tokelo Rantie move to Bloemfontein Celtic off PSL transfer news

accreditation

Bloemfontein Celtic will not be signing former Orlando Pirates striker Tokelo Rantie after he failed to return to the club for pre-season.

The former Bafana Bafana marksman started training with Celtic in March with the intention to sign for Siwelele after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns last year.

However, the 30-year-old's training with Phunya Sele Sele was disrupted by the national lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to Bloemfontein Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco, his club has been told that Rantie is likely to move to another team this coming season.

"We have started with our pre-season training in preparations for the new season and Rantie is not here," Konco tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We were told by his agent that he could be moving elsewhere. I don't think we will sign him."
