TS Galaxy have stepped up their mid-season preparations by embarking on a journey to Europe where they will face a host of European opponents this month.

Currently occupying twelfth position in the DStv Premiership standings, TS Galaxy are threatening to bounce back stronger in the second half of the campaign after securing a host of high-profile friendly encounters in Europe as part of their mid-season camp.

The Rockets departed for Turkey on Thursday evening where they are set to take on Giresunspor on 6 December, before taking on Italian Serie A side Sampdoria (11 December) and Saudi Arabia's Al Batin (12 December)

"It's a very nice trip and we are excited to go there," Galaxy winger Sphiwe Mahlangu said.

"Everyone is hyped up and we are hoping to get exposure that side, because we are playing against top opposition"

Upon their return to South Africa, the relative newcomers to the PSL will resume their 2022/23 campaign with an away trip to Maritzburg United on 30 December where they will be looking to end the year on a high note.
