Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa says he doesn't want to bring extra pressure upon himself by targeting the top scorer award this season.
The former South Africa under-20 striker has scored four goals in the five league games he has played for Pirates this season.

Mabasa, 23, has not only been in fine form but has also put one of the top international strikers Justin Shonga on the bench.
After misfiring in front of goal last season, Shonga has found himself warming the bench at Pirates with coach Rhulani Mokwena preferring Mabasa as a lone striker .
Mabasa's credentials as a top striker could be tested in the next coming few games with the Sea Robbers set to meet Kaizer Chiefs twice in the space of a week in the league and Telkom Knockout.

However, the former Siwelele attacker is not ready to put himself under pressure but instead wants to take each game as it comes, especially since the whole team is going through a distinct lack of confidence and results of late.
"I don't want to put any pressure on myself," Mabasa tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"This is my first season in a big club. This is part of the biggest club in South Africa, if not in Africa and the world. So I don't want to put myself under any pressure but just keep working hard, keep listening to the coaches and keep believing."
Mabasa is set to lead Pirates' attack again when they visit Stellenbosch in an Absa Premiership clash in Cape Town on Saturday (15h30).
