The Limpopo team are on the lookout for a new man to lead the team after failing to reach an agreement with their initial target Owen Da Gama.

The ambitious Venda side have cast their net wide to the neighbouring southern African country of Zimbabwe in an attempt to lure top coach Mapeza back to South Africa.

According to TTM communications manager Tshidino Ndou, the former Ajax Cape Town defender-cum-midfielder will have to meet club president Lawrence Mulaudzi in person before anything can be decided.

"The president has confirmed that there are certain terms that need to be discussed with coach Norman Mapeza in person before considering him," Ndou tells snl24.com/kickoff.

Mapeza resigned from the Chippa hotseat earlier this year after a misunderstanding over the duties of the technical team.
