The stocky left-back joined the club two months ago after a protracted club hunting battle but has yet to feature in an official match due to widespread suggestions that he is over weight.
“I have been told by the club that I will not play this season and will only be used next season. I respect that decision and will continue showing the utmost commitment at training just like someone who is fighting for a starting place in the team.
_quote“Maybe the fact that I hadn’t been playing for a while made the club decide not to use me for now.
“I have lost weight and I believe my fitness level has improved enough for me to test myself in a game situation. I have been playing in the reserve league and putting in a lot of effort. I’m a footballer and will only be happy once I play and so for now I will keep working towards that,” says Rammile.
Thanda have already indicated to KickOff.com that Rammile needs to work on his weight before he can be considered for selection.
Rammile (24) was granted his clearance by Mamelodi Sundowns at the beginning of the year after spending the first six months of the season not playing, having returned from a loan spell at Bloemfontein Celtic last season.
The Brazilians subsequently handed him his clearance before the transfer window closed.
