Agent explains fake Siyanda Xulu claims

Turkish newspapers ran a story that the Bafana Bafana defender had announced on Twitter he would move to Turkey from Russian Premier League side FC Rostov, unaware the account did not belong to him.

“It is a fake account; it is some guy based in Turkey who has been trying to blackmail Siyanda for the last two or three years to send him shirts and other things,” Xulu’s agent Paul Mitchell confirmed to snl24.com/kickoff.

“He has set up fake Facebook and Twitter accounts and been saying all sorts of stuff. He has been warned before, but after this he is going to be warned legally because this is getting out of hand.?

“I think he does it to a lot of players around the world and it is very unsettling and can be quite damaging for the players. It has to stop.”

As things stand then, Xulu will enter his third season with Rostov when the new campaign gets under way in early August.
