Zungu is widely expected to leave Amiens before the transfer window closes, and was linked with a switch to Rangers, although negotiations over a move to Scotland have stalled in recent weeks.

Joannin has since suggested that the 27-year-old, who has been offered a new contract at the club, and a host of the side's other wantaway stars could all be allowed to leave before the transfer window closes in order for Amiens to recruit reinforcements for the 2020/21 season.

"There is no longer any question of keeping players who have their heads elsewhere."

The report from the French publication added that Jonathan Bumbu, Stiven Mendoza, Saman Ghoddos, Chadrac Akolo and Moussa Konate are also on the way out, with the club lining up former Amakhosi defender Hadebe as one possible new recruit.

The Zimbabwe international narrowly avoided relegation from the Turkish Super Lig with Yeni Malatyaspor last season, thanks to the expansion of the league for the 2020/21 campaign, but his agent recently revealed that he is considering his options before making a decision on his future.

"Teenage will be arriving in Zimbabwe this week and we will discuss options with him," his agent Gibson Mahachi told snl24.com/kickoff last month.

"As you know, Teenage has done very well in Turkey. Priority will be for him to remain in Europe. And technically he is still contracted to his club, but he will discuss his options."
