Bongani Zungu made his long-awaited Rangers debut on Sunday as the Scottish Premiership giants recorded an 8-0 victory over Hamilton Academical.
More than a month after joining Rangers on a season-long loan from Ligue 2 side Amiens, Zungu made his debut for the current league leaders during a comprehensive 8-0 win over Hamilton at the Ibrox Stadium.

With the Gers leading 4-0 at half-time courtesy of goals from Scott Arfield, Kemar Roofe and a brace from Joe Aribo, Zungu was handed his debut from the bench when he replaced Scotland international Ryan Jack at the start of the second half.
The 28-year-old gave a good account himself as Steven Gerrard's side added four more goals to the scoreboard during the second 45, with the manager later revealing that he was pleased by the former Mamelodi Sundowns star's impact on debut.

"We were comfortable when he came into the game, but it was about the second-half performance. We demanded top standards at half-time all the way through and I wanted more goals," Gerrard said, per Rangers' official website.
"Bongani came on and kept us balanced behind the ball and kept it ticking over. He showed his range of passing and his aggressiveness in his profile, so he is only going to get better and better with time."
