The former Polokwane City coach has since returned to Belgium after handing in his resignation letter to the Libyan team.

Eymael has confirmed with KickOff that has returned to Belgium.

"Yes, I am back home. There was the issue of the political situation in Libya.

"It was a risk, my wife was no longer comfortable there due to the political situation in the country," Eymael tells KickOff.

"Other than the team treated me well. There were no issues. They paid me in time, there were no issues," he added.

Eymael still remains open to returning to South Africa and coaching in PSL again after spending time with Black Leopards, Polokwane City, Bloemfontein Celtic and Free State Stars in the past.
