Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter has returned to Swedish club IFK Gotheborg.
Baxter has taken up the goalkeeper coach position at the club as confirmed by the club who finished in eighth position in the just ended Swedish top division.
"Lee Baxter played in IFK Gothenburg during the 2004 season alongside Bengt Andersson, among others. During his playing career, he also represented clubs such as Malmö FF, AIK, Glasgow Rangers and Sheffield United.
Since 2008, he has worked as a goalkeeper coach in AIK, Turkish Genclerbirligi, Danish AGF Aarhus, South African Kaizer Chiefs and the South African national team," reads a statement from the Swedish club with Baxter also quoted as saying he enjoyed his time in South Africa.
"It has been eventful years and exciting places to work.
"Not least, the combination of club teams and national teams in South Africa was a developing period.
"It was four years there before I decided to return home to Sweden.
"The opportunity to return to Blåvitt appeared and then there was no hesitation.
"It is a big club that I also have a connection with from before.
"I'm looking forward to starting work at Kamratgården, which looks a little different compared to when I was here last," says Baxter who left Chiefs at the end of last season.
