Luther Singh: South Africa international earns high praise from Vitória Guimarães' Thibang Cafu Phete

Singh, 21, is widely regarded as one of South Africa's brightest prospects and is currently thriving within his debut season in LigaNOS on loan at GD Chaves.

Since making the six-month switch from title-chasing Braga, the technically gifted winger has made a notable impact in their bid for survival - as they have suffered only two defeats in the 11 games he's featured in.

While he's only netted once since his January arrival in the Portuguese top-flight, it's been his creativity and work-rate that's been lauded at Flavienses - which was evident as he made all three goals for David Notoane's side against Angola last Friday.

Speaking to snl24.com/kickoff, compatriot Phete, reserved praise for the one-time capped Bafana Bafana forward and fellow Braga midfielder Genino Palace, both of whom graduated from the Stars of Africa academy.

"The future is bright, they're young, they're playing for a good team, but it's all up to them to make use of the opportunity," Phete explains. "Luther? He can do anything and go anywhere with his talents.

With Palace being the lesser known of the two, 'Cafu' shed a little insight on what South African football fans can expect in future.

"On Genino, I can say he's a complete midfielder but I think his vision is one of his standout abilities."
