The drive for promotion into the desired Saudi Pro League has prompted Pitso Mosimane to make his latest signing ahead of a tie that could have the club top of the standings at the halfway stage of the season.
Just days after bringing in Gambian forward Modou Barrow, Al Ahli Saudi have now brought in Marcos ‘Marcao’ Amaral.

Marcao was the top scorer in the Chinese Super League with 27 goals in 26 appearances in leading his club Wuhan Three Towns to the title.
If the big Brazilian continues with his scoring form, then promotion will be in the bag for Mosimane with the top four teams going up.
Next up for Al Ahli is a league match against Al Jabalain on Tuesday which if they win will take them of the standings with 34 points.
Al Jabalain have lost the last two matches and sit in mid table.
Mosimane remains unbeaten in Saudi Arabia since taking over in September with six wins and five draws.
Priority with Al Ahli is a top four finish which will secure the ticket back to the Saudi Pro League where Cristiano Ronaldo is now playing at Al Nassr.
