Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli Saudi side incredibly moved within just three points of the summit of Saudi Arabia's Yelo league after a narrow 1-0 win over Al-hazm on Wednesday to strengthen their promotion push.
Al Ahli hosted second-placed Al-Hazm at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah with Abdullah Al-Mogren scoring the decisive goal in the 73rd minute.

The win lifts Mosimane's side into fourth place – which is the last promotion place – just three points behind league leaders Al-Faisaly.
Importantly, Mosimane's men possess a better goal difference and by winning their game in hand could move to the summit of the table.
Al Ahli play Al Jabalain on Tuesday in game number 17 of the season.
Mosimane remains unbeaten in Saudi Arabia since taking over 11 games ago and is moving along without defeat the same way he did when he started his previous job at Egyptian heavyweights Al Ahly.
He has won six and drawn five since arriving in September.
Priority with Al Ahli is a top-four finish which will secure the ticket back to the Saudi Pro League where Cristiano Ronaldo is now playing at Al Nassr.
