Tau continued his impressive form for Al Ahly on Thursday when he netted his second brace of the season during a 4-1 win over Smouha.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns star is now the joint-leading goalscorer in the league and boasts five goals to his name in just six appearances for the campaign.

Speaking after his side's victory, Mosimane revealed that his set-up was still a work in progress but that he knew exactly how he planned on best utilising the abilities of his countryman and the local talent around him.

"Sometimes I want to make sure that we don’t concede goals but we still make mistakes, because we want to attack and that leaves us a bit open in the back. We now play with a different intensity.

"Percy is a number nine, he’s not a winger. There are games that [Mohamed] Sherif is good for [in that position] and there are games that we might not use him as nine. For example, remember in Zamalek’s game Taher [Mohamed] played in parts of it as a 9..."
