The Al Ahly attacker has rediscovered his sensational form for the Egyptian giants since joining from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021.

The Bafana Bafana striker is also reported on the wanted list of Mamelodi Sundowns for next season.

Tau's contract with the Red Devils is set to expire in 2024 after signing a four-year contract with the Egyptian giants in 2021.

“There has always been interesting in Percy Tau," a source close to the player reveals to KickOff.

"He has regained his form now and it will be interesting to see if Al Ahly will be ready to listen to offers.

"He has worked with Vincent Kompany in Belgium.

"Kompany knows his qualities. At the moment Percy is a key player for Al Ahly, and they want to keep him."

Burnley currently are leading the English Championship standings by a huge 13 points, with 83 points after 37 matches played so far this season.
