
Serial winner Pitso Mosimane got back to winning ways by guiding his Al Ahli Saudi side to a deserved win over Al Kholood to resume their electrifying promotion and title assault.
Mosimane was back in familiar winning territory on Tuesday evening with a 2-1 away league win at Al Kholood.

Goals from Hassan Al Ali and Modou Barrow handed Al Ahli the three points and the comforts of remaining firmly in the race for automatic promotion by lifting the league title in Saudi Arabia’s second tier.
Following the humiliating 4-1 loss to Al Akhdoud in their previous match, which was also the first time Mosimane tasted defeat in Saudi Arabia, the former Bafana coach guided his his back to winning ways.
The result moves Mosimane’s team to second place on 40 points only separated by an inferior goal difference to leaders Al Hazem.
Under Mosimane, Al Ahli have moved from seventh position into the promotion ranks into the top four.
Al Ahli had eight points from five games when Mosimane took over and have since added 32 after winning nine, drawing five and suffering a single defeat.
With his latest result, Mosimane has maintained an impressive record of never having lost two consecutive matches since departing Sundowns.
His time at Al Ahly after leaving The Brazilians was dominated by wins and also having never lost two consecutive games.
Mosimane's next assignment is on Monday at home against Al Orubah.
