With Ayanda Patosi recently parting ways with Persian Gulf Pro League side Foolad, the forward is reportedly being targeted by two new clubs since his departure.
The winger recently went back onto the market after he was released by the Iranian club.
Patosi has previously been criticised by club Chief Executive Officer Saeed Azari for pitching up to training overweight.
Azari proceeded to describe the player as a "sumo wrestler" back in 2020.
After struggling to earn regular first-team action in the club's most recent matches, the two parties have now mutually agreed to part ways but the star's next move could be imminent.
According to Iranian football journalist Erfan, Patosi is in talks to join Mes Kerman.
The club in question are 14th position in the Gulf Pro league, seven places behind Foolad.
However Kerman are set to face competition as Iran side Gol Gahor are also believed to be interested in the 30-year-old.
Gal Gahor are sitting third on the log and are currently in a title race.
Patosi has played for a number of clubs outside Africa in his career including FC Baniyas, Esteghlal FC and KSC Lokeren.
