Sibeko, Rashete want out

Sibeko, who joined Pirates from Supersport United last season, has made just seven starts in a season-and-a-half (and none this campaign), whilst Rashete has only managed a single start for Bucs this in the current campaign – against Thanda Royal Zulu FC in the Absa Premiership.

Sibeko and Rashete's contracts with Pirates expire in 2009 and 2010 respectively, but both players have expressed their unhappiness at a lack of action and told KickOff.com that they will at the very least appeal to management to be released on loan.

_quote"After playing well against Thanda Royal Zulu I thought I will get another chance to play," Rashete says. "I haven't had chance to speak to [coach] Owen da Gama about the reasons why he does not want to play me, but I do understand that other guys are performing well in my position.

"I have no hard feelings towards the coach for not fielding me; maybe I’m just unlucky not to break into starting line-up. Such things happen in football. I will try to speak to management and the coach soon to find out if my services are still required.”

Sibeko says he wouldn’t mind going out on loan.

"I miss the action on the field and am desperate to play again," he tells KickOff.com."Maybe the new year will provide me with the opportunity to find a new team where I would play on loan.”
