The one-time Bafana Bafana midfielder who has also played for IFK Norkopping in Sweden, spent two weeks in Cape Town before departing for Johannesburg on Thursday.
“Santos did not call me to the negotiating table after my trial, but I hold no hard feelings as I was the one who called them in the first place,” he tells Kick Off.
“All they told me was that they were comfortable with what they have in the position that I play and that the team is doing fine.
“I have decided to move to Jozi because this where most clubs are based and it opens up more options for me. I really feel the need to play again because I am not enjoying the time that I am spending on the sidelines and I am losing out.”
The Matatiele-born player parted ways with Maritzburg after a disagreement towards the end of last season and has not played competitive football since.
A trial stint at AmaZulu during the transfer window yielded no joy either and he then spent his time keeping fit on the beach.
