Sithole finds new life in Maritzburg

The youth international left-back signed a one year deal with the Coastal Stream First Division outfit after having his contract at Wits not renewed.

A planned move to FC AK also failed to materialise.

“The Maritzburg environment is super perfect. I’m excited at the prospects ahead and am fighting to gain regular game.

“I’m putting in a tremendous amount of work at training because I am hungry to succeed. To be honest, I haven’t enjoyed myself so much for a while now.”

The 21-year-old defender, who joined Amakhosi as a 17-year-old and then left to go to Zulu Royals and Wits, says that the fact that he is now closer to his home in Newcastle, is another motivating factor in his renewed zest.
