The Liberian international’s contract with United begins in 2008\09 season, which allows him to continue playing for Ezenkosi until end of this campaign. However Sono says that for the next six months that the midfielder is with Cosmos, he will train with the development squad.

"We can’t use a player whose heart is no longer here and his mind somewhere else. We are happy that he is going.

“You could see that this season Laffor’s mind was no longer with Cosmos. He wanted to choose the games that he wanted to play in.

“Initially there was arrangement for him to go to Turkey for trials, but his agent had already signed deal with Supersport.

“We will only allow him train with the Under-19s, although we will continue to pay him his full salary until his contract with the team ends in June.”

Sono also told KickOff.com that is interested in getting his former striker Nkosinathi Nhleko back this season.

"I am not buying any players but will look at promoting a few of our youngsters from the development.

“We are also hoping to sign ‘Chippa’ on a short-term deal to help the team until the end of the season,” he added.
