Stars’ brand manager Rantsie Mokoena has confirmed to snl24.com/kickoff that the Limpopo-born star, who made his name in the top flight at Bloemfontein Celtic, has signed a one-year contract with the team.

"He has impressed the technical team during his trial period," Mokoena says. "Collins is one of the best strikers in the country but has been affected by lot of injuries

"We are hopeful that this time he will get over his injuries and get back to his best form. We have given him one-year contract with an option to renew."

Mokoena also told snl24.com/kickoff that their game against Bloemfontein Celtic will go on as scheduled on Saturday at the Absa Stadium in Kimberly, kicking off at 15h00.

Celtic were back in the country on Monday after visiting Botswana over the weekend and according to club captain John Maduka, the trip to Gaborone was a success, even though they lot 2-1 to Township Rollers.

"Even though we lost, I think we will gain a lot through the trip as it also afforded some of the youngsters a chance to play," Maduka says.
