According to a message posted on the club’s website, Sundowns offices have been inundated with calls from the supporters urging the club to question this unusual decision and the Brazilians have now forwarded a written query to Safa CEO Raymond Hack and referees co-ordinator Carlos Henriques and also to PSL CEO Kjetil Siem.
“Ncobo was the man in the middle when we lost 3-2 to Wits and three days later when we were beaten 3-1 by Moroka Swallows,” the letter states.
The letter further strives to ascertain whether it has ever happened in the history of the PSL where the same referee was appointed to officiate in two consecutive matches involving the same team.
