Robert Gumede, boss of Swazi team who are known as ‘Amakhosi’ in their homeland, says his team aims to do better than the Soweto giants against Mamelodi Sundowns during the Nedbank Cup match in Durban last Sunday.

“Kaizer Chiefs is my favorite team in South Africa and that’s why I decided to name my team after them. I felt very sad when they lost against Sundowns, but I am sure my team in Swaziland will do better and make me happy this weekend.

“The boys are very excited about the final and we will count on the experience of Mkhize, Molapisi and Vusimuzi Madinane who used to play for City Pillars in South Africa.”

Mkhize has already scored two goals for Malanti in the Swazi Bank tournament.

The final carries a first prize of R300 000 with the runners-up picking up R190 000.
