Cape Town City sign Aussie James Brown and ex-Pirates keeper Samora Motloung

Brown, an offensive midfielder, was formerly on the books of Melbourne City, and joins compatriot Matt Sim at City.

Motloung, who hails from Khayelitsha, linked up with the Buccaneers last season. However, the 21-year-old Ajax Cape Town academy graduate has decided to return to the Mother City.

The newly-former club announced the pair's capture on Twitter: "We would like to officially welcome Goalkeeper, Samora Motloung to #CTCFC. #CTCFC would like to officially welcome Australian international, James Brown (26)."

The Eric Tinkler-led outfit also recently recruited Latvian Renars Rode, fellow defender Tshepo Gumede from Pirates, and Austrian midfielder Roland Putsche.
