According to the 32-year-old, who still has a year left on his SuperSport contract plus the option to renew, he intends to stay in Tshwane and complete his mission there.
The former Ajax Cape Town centre-back is flattered by the reported interest but says he is staying with Matsatsantsa, who are serious about winning trophies next season.
“I’m happy here at SuperSport and as you know the coach [Stuart Baxter] has assembled a very good squad and we are serious about challenging for league honours,” Daniels tells snl24.com/kickoff.
“The club is on to something big and honestly speaking I don't see the need to leave. This is all just speculation and I'm fully committed to coach Baxter and the club.
“For the record I have had no contact with them, but I'm flattered by the story,” he concludes.
