snl24.com/kickoff last week revealed the Buccaneers had plans to loan Pelembe to Arrows.
The Mozambican striker has since started training with Abafana Bes'thende, and represented the coastal outfit in the Uthungula Mayoral Cup semi-finals against Thanda Royal Zulu in Richards Bay on the weekend.
"It should be (done) and we are positive we can secure him," says Larsen, who worked with Pelembe at Bloemfontein Celtic in the first half of last season.
"He only came a few days ago and he's not fit. Of course we're not expecting too much of him because his match fitness is way below everybody else but these type of games improve your match fitness.
"He's a quality player and he's a Mozambican international and I have worked with him before, and yes good professional.
"I think he will also give (Sbusiso) Sibeko as well as (Lerato) Lamola some competition in that (striking) department."
Pirates and Arrows have a positive working relationship, as evidenced by Bucs farming out Mwape Musonda, Philani Zikalala and Gladwin Shitolo to the Durban-based side in 2015/16.
