Joseph Molangoane in trouble at Chippa United after absconding from pre-season

Molangoane is at loggerheads with Chippa over his contract, which was due to expire in June this year, but the club claim they have exercised an option.

The player has now decided against returning to Port Elizabeth with the hope of moving to Johannesburg to join Amakhosi this coming season.

According to an official at Chippa, the club is already preparing charges against Molangoane for absconding pre-season training.

“He is still yet to report for pre-season. I believe the boy has been ill-advised,” an official at Chippa tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“We made it clear that any team interested to sign him must pay. He is under contract with us. We are seeking legal action to address this matter.”
