Chiefs have confirmed the arrival of Manyama on a three-year deal, following his release from Turkish side Konyaspor last month.
The Soweto giants welcomed the 27-year-old to their squad in time for this weekend's MTN8 semi-final first leg against his former club SuperSport United.
The 2017 PSL and KICK OFF Footballer of the Season spent a lone season in Europe, but managed two goals in 10 appearances in Turkey.
Manyama becomes Amakhosi's fifth signing of the current transfer window, following the arrivals of Khama Billiat, Letlhogonolo Mirwa, Virgil Vries and Adriamirado Andrianarimanana.
Chiefs are also still in discussions to have centre-back Lorenzo Gordinho return early from his loan spell with Bloemfontein Celtic, who have rejected their initial request.
Another possible signing the club are lining up is Ugandan defender Godfrey Walusimbi, who is currently contracted to Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia.
