Solomons had been in charge of the Cape Town-based club since May 2015.

Sean Ferrier, the Milano general manager, confirms the latest developments of this morning.

“It was a mutual decision to part ways with the coach,” Ferrier tells snl24.com/kickoff.

In the interim Douglas Williams and Byrone Hendricks will take charge.

The club’s struggles are the reason behind the two parties parting ways with Milano in 14th place and faced with the prospect of relegation.

They have 20 points from 22 games and were humiliated 5-1 by Real Kings in their third straight loss on the weekend.
