Botes has returned to the club from Bidvest Wits, while Hoffman was formerly on the books of NFD outfit Vasco da Gama.
Dikwena have also recruited Katlego Khunou, Tshirelatso Lesabane, Sipho Senne, Sphamandla Mlilo, Sphiwe Mnguni, Nhlakanipho Duma, Gift Links, Kamohelo Mathe, Thuto Mphahlele, Thobani Kunene and Benson Shilongo.
Meanwhile, Stars confirmed the departure of Sibusiso Radebe, Vincent Khumalo, Letladi Madubanya, Nicholas Mlambo, Robin Ngalande, Bongi Ntuli, Nduduzi Nyanda, Eleazar Rodgers, Tlou Segolela, Thabiso Semenya, Bouna Coundoul and Emmanuel Mathias.
Rodgers has joined Wits, while Ntuli and Ngalande are back at Mamelodi Sundowns and the Students respectively following loan spells in Rustenburg.
