Milano's media officer Sean Ferrier confirms the news and adds that they are also in the process of finalising a deal with the former Polokwane City and SuperSport United defender Gert Barends.
“We knew we had to fill the void left by Lee Langeveldt [after he joined Golden Arrows] who did extremely well for us,” Ferrier tells snl24.com/kickoff.
“We only conceded 23 goals in 32 matches last season of which 15 were dubious penalties to say the least.
“Sherwin, having previously been a member of our club and considering his recent accolades, it therefore just fits the description perfectly.
“We are delighted to have him back.”
With regards to Barends' deal, Ferrier adds: “We're just tying up a few loose ends but everything should be concluded by no later than Monday.”
Ferrier says the Kinnes from Grassy Park have also acquired the services of Jason Dickson on a one-year deal with the option to renew for two additional years.
“Jason has long been on our wanted-list. He is a young player with a driving, fighting ambition. He wants to succeed and is versatile, a typical Milano-type player,” Ferrier concludes.
