The Swazi midfielder picked up a groin injury on Monday during a friendly game against Mvela League Garankuwa United that they won 2-1.
Tsabedze confirmed to Kick Off that he will be out for five days and added that his doctor recommended that he only start training again on Sunday.
“If all goes well I can play in the League game over the weekend, before I leave for the national team in Swaziland.
“I am feeling pain in my groin at the moment, so I will just follow the doctor’s advice and then see what happens after that.”
Tsabedze was scheduled to join his national team for their Afcon qualifying match against Eritrea. He missed Swaziland’s previous clash against Angola due to an injury that he picked up against Kenya in the same Ghana 2008 competition.
“I have to compete for my position at Supersport because there are so many good players around. That is very tough and I am hoping the injury won’t let me down because I am working extra hard at training to achieve something with the team this season,” he said.
