Usuthu need to use home advantage

accreditation

Kick off is at 15h00.

The KwaZulu-Natal team will play their fourth consecutive home fixture but they are in need of a win, having picked up just two points from their previous three fixtures.

Strangely enough, Clive Barker’s team have picked up more points on the road thus far in the 2007/08 campaign, but the former Bafana Bafana coach will target this match as a must-win encounter, as Moroka Swallows, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are Usuthu’s next three opponents in the league.

Wits have had mixed fortunes on their travels this season, picking up eight points from six matches, but they travel to the coast in good form, having won two of their last three games.

Roger De Sa’s team have also been boosted by the return to form of talented Brazilian Marcos De Jesus. The forward netted a brace this past weekend against Black Leopards to give Wits a 2-1 victory and lift them to fifth place.

AmaZulu through, can join the Clever Boys on 19 points should they claim victory, and this match is all set up for an intriguing battle.
