Midfielder Noel Mwandila and striker Peter Mutale have signed one-and-a-half year contracts with the Limpopo-based based side, while a third Zambian, Joseph Bwalya, is still on trial.

Mwandila (26) and Mutale (28), impressed during their trials in early December.

Mwandila joins from Zambia Army club Green Buffaloes while Mutale is a free agent. Both have had their work permit approved by the Department of Home Affairs.

Mwandila, who was until his departure captain of Buffaloes for four seasons, is a very fast winger and an immaculate crosser of the ball. He is nicknamed ‘Beckham’ after the England captain because of his ability to cross. He is an expert spot kick taker.

He is equally a good finisher and was among the top scorers in his country during the 2005/06 with 12 goals.

The following season he moved to Malaysia where he played for Negeri Sembila who were not only league champions that year, but also reached the semi-finals ofthe FA Cup and finalists in the Malaysia Cup.

Mutale, on the other hand, has just returned from a stint with Al Wahda Sports Club of Syria last season. He also played for the club in the 2001-2002 seasons and was top scorer.

Bwalya has just finished his two-year contract with APR of Rwanda.
