Zoltan Gera's strike for Hungary named the best goal of Euro 2016

The outcome is based on votes from supporters and Gera's long range effort against Portugal garnered 32% of the votes cast.

The 37-year-old netted the beauty in a Group F game that ended 3-3 against the eventual Euro 2016 champions.

Ronaldo bagged second place with 24% of the votes for his header in the semi-final against Wales and not, surprisingly, for his sublime flick in the same game in which Gera scored his net-buster.

In third place was Xherdan Shaqiri's spectacular acrobatic effort for Switzerland in their last-16 match against Poland.
