Zothwane set for Arrows return

This was revealed by coach Manqoba Mngqithi on Wednesday morning after rounding up his training sessions.

“He’s been in Johannesburg for a weeks now and the feedback we are getting is that he’s progressing well.

“Papi is scheduled to see the physio today and we expect him back tomorrow (Thursday). He could be in the team on Saturday,” said Mngqithi.

There were fears that Zothwane could be laid low for another long spell following surgery on his troubling knee.

The latest developments should put a smile on the faces of Arrows’ fans as Zothwane’s comeback could add impetus to the team’s play.

In his absence Vumane Mvundla stepped in well, playing with authority and also registering his name on the scoresheet in the Bloemfontein Celtic win last week.

Meanwhile, Mngqithi said he was expecting a desperate approach from Thanda as they are battling to move up the log on the table.

“We know they play contrasting style which we will be ready to counter on the day. I am happy with my boys. They are looking good so far,” he said.
