Zothwane, who has also been missing in the Bafana Bafana line-up of late, has been battling with a knee injury since the beginning of the season.
According to Abafana Bes’thende coach Manqoba Mngqithi, Zothwane underwent a further medical assessment last week, and the doctor recommended that he be given a further three weeks rest to give his injury time to heal.
