Algeria star winger Youcef Belaili has earned a lucrative move away from African champions Esperance after his sublime showing at AFCON 2019.

The 27-year-old was linked with a move to Ligue 1 side Marseille after helping Algeria to their second AFCON title in Egypt last month.

But the highly-rated winger, who's won two league titles, two CAF Champions League titles along with the coveted international honour with Les Verts over the past 24 months has opted to make a reported R50 million switch to Saudi Arabia.

Pro League sid Al Ahli confirmed the Algerian signed a three-year contract worth a total of R56m - ending his glittering stint with the Tunisian giants.

Belaili scored six goals and registered 10 assists in 26 games across all competitions for the African champions during the 2018/19 season.
