A stunning new report has claimed that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo now wants out of Manchester United.

Ronaldo's future has once again been cast into doubt, with reports in Italy suggesting that the 37-year-old is seeking a move away from Old Trafford in this transfer window following a recent development in his relationship with new Red Devils' manager Erik ten Hag.

Here are some stars Ten Hag could soon sign for United!

Upon the Dutchman's arrival at the Theatre of Dreams, it was understood that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner would stay at the club and that he was part of the new boss' plans.

During his unveiling, the former Ajax Amsterdam manager insisted the marksmen would "bring goals" to his side, while the player himself said he was looking forward to working with the 52-year-old.

However, per Italian publication La Repubblica, Ronaldo does not feel involved in Ten Hag's new project, and is now looking for an exit as a result.

The fact that United are not in the UEFA Champions League next season is cited as another factor in the Portugal captain seeking a departure.

It is further claimed Real Madrid's record goalscorer has already asked his agent Jorge Mendes to secure him a new club.

Serie A side Roma and Ronaldo's boyhood club Sporting CP are two potential destinations named in the report, but a switch to the Giallorossi seems unlikely given they are not in next season's UCL.

The Portuguese club are, though, but it remains to be seen where Ronaldo will end up if he does leave United in this window.
