Harry Kane, who has confirmed that he will be staying at Tottenham Hotspur after all this season, has been included, as has new Manchester City signing, and most expensive British player ever, Jack Greakish.

Notable omissions from their 2020 UEFA European Championship squad include Ben Chilwell and Marcus Rashford, who misses out through injury. The pair have been replaced by Trent-Alexander-Arnold and Jesse Lingard.

Mason Greenwood also missed out, despite his inclusion in the Three Lions' provisional Euro 2020 squad, with Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford getting the nod ahead of him.

"There was an opportunity for us in the forward areas and now is an opportunity for Patrick. I think his progress with Leeds United has been excellent," Southgate said in a press conference, per the team's official Twitter account.

"Mason Greenwood is in our thoughts. We're all aligned, Mason, the club, his family, and us. The best thing for him after these first few games is to stay with his club.

"It's clear on his performances he'd warrant being in the squad."
