According to The Athletic, a number of Chelsea forwards are upset with the way the head coach uses and treats them, with his criticism from the touchline during matches and in training being described as "brutal", and this has led to them suffering from a lack of confidence and developing a fear of taking risks.
While injuries and Covid-19 have not helped, the rotation of players and their positions have reportedly also added to the low morale among the attackers, who are finding it increasingly difficult to build any consistency, with some even considering leaving the club in the near future as a result.
