Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Jack Grealish for a reported £100 million (R2 billion).
The Premier League side is set to welcome Grealish to the club as their second signing, after back-up goalkeeper Scott Carson, ahead of the 2021/22 season after confirming that a deal has been agreed with Aston Villa.
With the transfer fee understood to be £100 million, the 25-year-old now holds the record for the most expensive Bristish player ever that was previously held by Gareth Bale following the Wales star's £85 million (R1.6 billion) transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013.
It is understood that Grealish has signed a five-year contract with the Manchester club, which will see him stay at the Etihad until 2026.
