A former Premier League striker has claimed that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are not as good as Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian became the fastest Reds player to score 100 EPL goals for the club.
The Egypt forward had a record-breaking performance against Brentford on Saturday, when he reached a century of goals in only 151 Premier League appearances for the Merseysiders, surpassing the late Roger Hunt, who achieved the same feat in 152 top-flight games, according to liverpooloffside.sbnation.

Following his display on the weekend, Salah continued his fine form in front of goal with a brace to help Jurgen Klopp's side beat FC Porto 5-1 in their UEFA Champions League tie on Tuesday night to take his 2021/22 tally to eight goals in as many games.
Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders has now declared that the African forward, with his current form, has eclipsed Ronaldo and Messi.
"Right now, as we speak, who's better than him?" Saunders said during a segment on radio show talkSPORT.
"Eight goals in eight games from right wing, he's not playing down the middle. He just looks unstoppable.
"There's Messi and Ronaldo, who are on their own, but right now they're not as good as Salah.
"It’s easy to say Ronaldo, but right now Salah looks like he's going to score every week."
