Fulham were the first off the marks as Luciano Vietto intercepted Hector Bellerin's pass before his deflected shot produced a fantastic save from Bernd Leno.

The encounter was an end- to-end affair as both sides made regular entries into each respective penalty box.

Alexandre Lacazette put Arsenal ahead when he got onto the end of Nacho Montreal’s low cross to turn and shoot into the back of the net after 28 minutes.

Three minutes later, Henrikh Mkhitaryan sliding attempt at goal lacked the power to trouble Marcus Bettinelli as the Gunners pushed for more goal.

On the stroke of halftime, André Schürrle scored the equaliser after a through pass by Vieto with a tiny dink over Leno.

Schurlle’s equaliser ensured that the home team head into the halftime break with a confidence booster.

Three minutes into the second half, Bellerin unleashed a powerful drive from the edge of the box that was thwarted by Bettinelli.

Moments later, Lacazette grabbed his brace with a stunning low volley from range to restore's Arsenal's lead.

In the 67th minute, second-half substitute Aaron Ramsey scored with a cute back-heel from a Pierre Emerik Aubamayeng cross to extend Arsenal’s advantage.

Aubamayeng, who was also a second-half substitute, added to the score sheet with a superb turn and volley from close range.

The Gabon international was not done there as he completed his brace second-half stoppage time with a close range finish to round off an impressive win.
