FC Barcelona news: Philippe Coutinho eyes Premier League return

accreditation

After falling out of favour at Barcelona, Coutinho has spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Bayern Munich, where he is hoping to help the club claim the UEFA Champions League title, but could leave the LaLiga giants permanently next season, according to his agent Kia Joorabchian.

"For him to make a commitment is very difficult. We've not kept it a secret that he wants to come back to the Premier League if he can. He adores playing in the Premier League and I think it's one of his priorities, but he's also not against staying in Barcelona so it's very open.

"There's a lot of genuine interest because he's a great player, so there's always interest."

The 28-year-old, who is one of 12 players on Barca's reported transfer list, has long been linked with a return to Liverpool, but it is believed that the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea are more inclined to make an offer for his services next season.
