Manchester City are reportedly planning to offer huge wages in a bid to lure a €100 million (R1.8 billion) star to the Etihad stadium.
The Citizens spent a club-record €117.5 million (R2.1 billion) to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa ahead of the 2021/22 season.
However, the Englishman has failed to replicate the form he displayed at his previous club, with many feeling the player's performances have not warranted the big price tag.

While manager Pep Guardiola has vehemently backed Grealish to become a success in Manchester, it appears City are looking to add competition to the left wing role in the squad.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Premier League giants are ready to make a move for AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao, and will offer the Portugal forward €12 million (R217 million) a season to convince him to make the switch.
That salary is said to be double the annual wages Leao currently earns with his Serie A side.

The Italian outlet added that Milan will demand a hefty fee of more than €100 million (R1.8 billion) for his services as his current contract is only set to expire in 2024.
Reports have also suggested that City could be open to the idea of an audacious swap deal that would see Grealish head to the San Siro in exchange for Leao.
