After trading Chelsea for Arsenal, Brazil star Willian is now one of the highest-paid footballers in the Premier League. Here's how he ranks alongside the league's 10 top-earning players.

On Friday morning, Willian completed a free transfer to the Gunners following the expiration of his contract at Chelsea, and he has reportedly signed a deal worth £220 000 (R5 million) a week with the north London side.

In a list released by the Daily Mail, it has been revealed that the 32-year-old Brazil international's deal makes him the Premier League's ninth highest-paid player, and the second-highest on Arsenal's books.

The British publication's list also shows that Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is the league's highest-paid player, with the Spain international raking in an incredible £375 000 (R8.5 million) per week at Old Trafford.

The shot-stopper is closely followed by Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and Willian's new Arsenal teammate Mesut Ozil, both of whom share the second spot with a neat income of £350 000 (R7.9 million) every week.

At the other end of the rich list's top 10, the African trio of Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane all share 10th spot, alongside Tottenham Hotspur and England captain Harry Kane.
